Honorary Mentions for Four Students of Nobel Algarve Almancil – Globeducate Arts Competition 2023

The Globeducate Arts competition is one of seven international events on the Globeducate Calendar, starting in June during the summer term. Submissions are concluded by November, and the judging process wraps up just in time for the holiday season. In the 2023 edition of the competition, a remarkable 2,100 students participated by submitting their entries. The Globeducate judging panel carefully reviewed over 200 pieces during the evaluation process.

The competition, theme around concepts of Reflection, saw participation from students across all year groups, showcasing their talents across various genres such as painting, sculpture, photography and English poetry. The goal was for all the students to do a piece around this theme.

The results for the Globeducate Arts Competition, Reflections 2023, have been finally unveiled!

We're thrilled to announce that our school has garnered four Honorary Mentions across three distinct categories in this competition:

• Painting (Lower Primary Ages 5-7): Bonnie Watson and Florence Wanrooij from Year 2.
• Sculpture and 3D Art (Lower Primary ages 5-7): Iaroslav Ovcharov from Year 3.
• Poetry (Upper Primary Ages 8-10): Harry Williamson from Year 6.

Our heartfelt congratulations go out to these talented students. We take immense pride in their artistic achievements and the dedication they exhibited in embracing the theme.

A big thank you to all the students who submitted their work. This year's participants have showcased the extraordinary creative talent among our student body. Your commitment and creativity have truly made this a remarkable year for our school in the Reflections 2023 competition.
