Nobel Algarve Almancil - Beyond the classroom
Alongside our engaging curriculum, we create regular opportunities for our students to get outside the classroom, whether taking part in our outdoor learning programme, The Journey, participating in Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme, or discovering their passions with our VivaHUB After School activities.
VivaHUB After School programme
We offer an extensive range of After School activities, from sports to art classes, chess club, coding and more. VivaHUB is a programme where creativity isn't confined; where the beauty of different cultures is celebrated; where innovation is encouraged; where self-expression is valued; and where well-being takes centre stage.

The Journey
The Journey is our comprehensive outdoor learning programme that runs through school, from nursery to Year 13. It is designed to inspire a love of the outdoors, fostering team-building skills and helping students develop self-confidence and decision-making capabilities.

Opportunities for outdoor learning
Outdoor learning offers students a chance to connect with their surroundings while developing important life skills like working in a team and problem-solving. Spending time outdoors can help to cement ideas learned in the classroom and boost physical and mental well-being, and can even help improve focus and behaviour back in the classroom.

Duke of Edinburgh’s Award
The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is offered in Bronze, Silver and Gold and is designed to provide a balanced programme of personal development and challenge through a mixture of volunteer service, outdoor expeditions, practising skills and physical recreation.
