Welcome to Lagoa campus

I am delighted to welcome you to Nobel Algarve’s Lagoa campusI have the honour of leading the school for the first two terms of 2024.  I am a recently retired Head with extensive experience of top UK independent schools as well as British curriculum international schools.  I served as a lead inspector for the UK based Independent Schools Inspectorate, and a few years ago I spent some time with the leadership team at Nobel Algarve working to improve teaching and learning.  My wife and I love Portugal and enjoy spending time in the Algarve.

The school benefits from a committed and experienced staff team.  Our goal is to provide all students with an exceptional international education, based on British educational values, in a safe, welcoming and happy environment. 

Aided by being part of the Globeducate group, the school sets rigorous standards. The academic programme is individualised so all students are challenged to do their best. Nobel Algarve students win places at prestigious universities in the UK, Portugal and across Europe and the world.

Learning is not restricted to the classroom.  We offer a rich outdoor education programme that promotes environmental awareness and equips our students to face challenges, building character so they manage failure with resilience.​   We encourage our children to be inquisitive and independent.
