Nobel Algarve - Lagoa Campus
Our main campus in Lagoa serves Early Years students, as well as Primary and Secondary students in our International and National sections.
Our Pre-School for students aged three to six years is bilingual (English and Portuguese). Each class has two full-time staff - a teacher and a teaching assistant.
The children are guided to develop the skills and competencies required by both Portuguese and English education systems and, because of this, they are better prepared for the increasingly globalised world that will be their future.
In the National Section Section (ages six to 18), students work towards Portuguese National qualifications.
In the International Section (ages five – 18) students follow a contextualised English National Curriculum up to UK IGCSE/GCSE and A-level examinations.
Our International Section is divided into Primary School (ages five to ten) and Secondary School (ages 11 to 18). English is the language of instruction, and additional English as a Foreign Language support is available. All students also learn Portuguese.
Nobel Algarve’s Lagoa Campus school sits in safe and secure extensive grounds in an idyllic countryside setting but close to a main road on one side that provides quick and easy direct access to the western Algarve’s main towns.
Classrooms and laboratories are all fully air-conditioned and students have shaded areas and a snack bar as well as climbing frames and space to play games during recreational time.
We also have art and design studios (3D printer, laser cutter and CAD/CAM software), two dining halls, library, music recording studio and ICT suites.
Sports facilities include an inline speed skating rink, 7-a-side and 5-a-side football fields, volleyball, basketball and tennis courts, cross-country, track, gym and a karate dojo.
Children in our principal International Primary Section, Lagoa, number between 100 – 120 and benefit from facilities used by the senior school. The Head of Primary oversees the Primary Education phase across both campuses.
