CEFR Levels

All students begin with a Placement Test to ensure accurate level placement across Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing – allowing us to personalise your learning journey from the very start.

The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is an internationally recognised standard used to describe language proficiency in a clear and consistent way. It provides learners, teachers, academic institutions and employers with a shared understanding of what a student can do in English at each stage of their learning journey: from beginner to highly proficient user.

By defining specific competencies in speaking, listening, reading and writing, the CEFR helps students set realistic goals and track their progress with confidence.
