Coruña British International School facilities
Coruña British International School has modern, spacious facilities, fully modernised when the school opened in 2015. There are over 3,200m2 of grounds with 1,800m2 of buildings. Specially designed spaces include covered patios for play, a dance/drama studio, workshop, greenhouse, sport facilities and even a duck pond!
For our younger students we have dedicated role-play spaces including a veterinary practice, a shop, and tool workshop and a children’s playground. Classrooms have dedicated comfortable spaces for quiet time and reading, group study zones and play areas.
As our students progress they can take advantage of our new Learning Hub, with its library, learning support room and technology space. There’s also an adventure playground with a spectacular slide!
Sports facilities
We have a wide range of sporting facilities including an indoor heated swimming pool, playing fields, a covered sports area and a psychomotor development facility.
New Campus in Culleredo
Coruña British International School will have a new school campus in Sésamo (Culleredo). Built on a 38,698 m² plot in Sésamo and in an unbeatable natural environment, the new school will have a total built area of 14,800 m² of warm, open and interconnected educational spaces that facilitate active learning and contribute to the development of skills for the 21st century. The new campus of Coruña British International School will have a single building, with a clear differentiation of educational stages, in which students coexist but do not mix, as each stage has its own specific spaces. It is a very functional building, with the flexibility to adapt to the constant evolution of the students, and their educational needs in the different stages, from three to 18 years old. The centre will also have a gymnasium, indoor sports pavilion, auditorium, outdoor sports area, and arts and STEAM classrooms.
