About our school
Founded in 1972, Nobel Algarve British International School, Lagoa, is a well-established private school with a strong record of academic excellence, located in the Western Algarve. Following the Bilingual Pre-School (ages 3 & 4), our students may choose to continue with the National Curriculum for England through Primary and Secondary, pursuing internationally recognised qualifications such as iGCSEs and A Levels, or they may follow the Portuguese National Curriculum. As a thriving international school, Nobel Algarve Lagoa has grown considerably over the past 50 years, and we are currently expanding our campus with the introduction of new state-of-the-art facilities. As we grow, our goal remains to provide an exceptional international education with a global perspective, high standards, and a safe, welcoming, and happy environment.
