Bilingual Pre-School at Nobel Algarve Lagoa
At Nobel Algarve we want all our children to enjoy their learning whilst at school. We aim to achieve this within a happy, structured and caring environment.
Children are encouraged and guided to learn through inquiry and the proven power of play. Through a variety of teaching and learning methods and strategies, we prepare children for their future school life and we aim to instil in them a lifelong enthusiasm for learning.
Our bilingual Portuguese/English curriculum is a blend of the best approaches from both national curricula, and ensures that children can move into either the British international pathway or the Portuguese national pathway after their Pre-School years are completed.
Alongside developing skills in English, Portuguese and other key areas including mathematics, children at Nobel Algarve Lagoa have the opportunity to enjoy regular music classes, P.E., and begin to explore technology and how it can support their learning.
After completing bilingual pre-school, children at Nobel Algarve Lagoa can choose from two pathways:
Continuing their education in English following the National Curriculum of England and eventually studying for IGCSEs and A-levels

Welcome to Nobel Algarve Pre-School! Here, we value bilingual education, which promotes cognitive development, autonomy, and cultural openness in children. We aim to enhance essential skills such as creativity, socialisation, emotional expression, and learning through play. We are committed to creating a welcoming and stimulating environment where every child can explore, learn, and grow with confidence.
