Nobel Algarve Lagoa Celebrates Outstanding Year 13 A-Level Results

Nobel Algarve British International School Lagoa is celebrating an exceptional set of A-Level results, with a 98% pass rate, above the UK average, and the number of A* grades doubling compared with last year.

Students achieved a 100% pass rate in 12 A-Level subjects, across a wide variety of areas, including the Arts, Sciences, Humanities and Languages. In Further Mathematics, results were particularly impressive, with 86% of students being awarded with A-A*. Portuguese was also a standout, with 100% pass rate, further showcasing Nobel Algarve Lagoa's dedication to promoting bilingual learning and integration with the local community.

The results reflect the breadth and strength of Nobel Algarve Lagoa's Sixth Form, with students now progressing to universities and higher education opportunities in Portugal, the UK and internationally. Destinations are varied, with offers rolling in from Les Roches, Pratt University in New York, ESAIL (École Supérieure d’Architecture Intérieure et Design), UCL - University College London and TU Delft. Students will be progressing to further studies in a series of areas, including Fine Arts, Hospitality, Engineering and the Classics.

Looking back on his own Sixth Form experience, before heading to study Business Administration at the International University of Monaco, Nobel Algarve Lagoa's 2025/2026 Head Boy, Maxmilian, said that the key to his success in Sixth Form was making friends and preparation. Similarly, Reva, who achieved a phenomenal three A*s and one A, said revising early was the best advice she had to pass on to students beginning their Sixth Form journeys.
