School Services
At Nobel Algarve Lagoa, we provide a range of services designed to support both students and parents. Our offerings include a healthy school canteen, bus transportation, an on-site school nurse and psychologist and a school uniform shop.
School nurse and psychologist
We have two staff members dedicated to the wellbeing of our students – our school nurse and our school psychologist.
- The nurse takes care of our students day to day, including administering medication if required, and tending to minor injuries and ailments.
- The psychologist supports students with additional needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Austism or Dyslexia, as well helping children learn how to deal with their emotions, focus better and manage anxiety.
Catering and canteen
We offer daily nutritious hot meals in our canteen for students that wish to sign up to our lunch service. Alternatively, children can bring a packed lunch. All students are together in the canteen.
The school does not usually provide meals during holiday programmes or other activities outside school times and premises.
Bus transport
Our school bus route covers the western Algarve, from Faro to Praia da Luz. Parents or guardians contracting the school’s transportation service do so for the entire school year. Opting out of payment halfway through the year is not possible. The buses used for school transport are supplied by a specialised firm.

School uniform
Students at Nobel Algarve British International School are asked to wear their uniform to school daily. We believe a uniform is an important part of our collective identity and a way to build a sense of community. Wearing a uniform encourages students to act as ambassadors of the school – and we expect them to behave as such, including while on public transport or travelling to and from the school.
Wearing a school uniform helps to:
- Encourage self-respect and pride in the school
- Promote a professional approach to learning
- Support the academic ethos of the school as a well-ordered environment in which to learn
- Ensure that students are well-presented and smart
For more information about uniforms, please refer to the school uniform policy.
